Wow nice James! I want that Kenko extension tube!
It was a very nice to meet up with Rene and John. Thanks for Steve in organising it!
Good food, good company, and wine on Steve!
I noted that all the other patrons in the restaurant were looking at us putting the watches on the table and I was getting a tick nervous watching the door, it's Chinatown afterall, and James was taking his time taking photos, maybe I watched too many cops movies

I think some of the people were actually more fascinated by the camera's than the watches. You and Gedanken truly brought along some amazing photographic kit.

Steve's wine choice was superb and well befitting the quality of the night

That Lanson was a great drop of Champagne and at US$30 a bottle, the guys in the USA could afford a truck load (courtesy of our crappy Ozzie dollar)
True I think everyone around us was just looking at all the fun we were having with watches, cameras, champagne and the laughs, we were laughing so loudly (I nearly thought the waiter was going to tell us to quite down)

Hey guys. It was a great night.

Nice to catch up again, and meet Kai & Rene. Oh, that VIP medallion was a scream.

I thought it was funny when the waiter asked if we were dealers, and how much were the watches.

Man, there was over $400k on the table.

That photo equipment was awesome (James & Kai).

Good food, great company - as always. Got to do it again.

Good idea Steve, you need to get a list of people for next time. If we get a good turn out, we may need to get a private room.

John.
Yeah I loved how its said sponsored by Coca Cola. It must be a good luck charm as we had a fabulous time.

Thanks to everyone and Steve. The next one will be huge. In Australia Rolex WIS travel hundreds of miles to drink, talk about Rolex, and laugh

Thanks James, I feel like a real VIP now

Anyway, there were 5 guys and one lady who had the courage enough to put up with 5 Rolex louts.

Myvan is a work colleague of James, and recently joined the forum, she took a keen interest in all the babblings that were going on and added much to the fun of the evening.

It was more of a reflection on the restaurant than it was on you, Steve. After all, why would they hand out VIP status when they don't offer anything with it?

G'day John!

Sounds like you guys had a great night out!

Where was I?

Hmm, Saturday night? I was probably languishing at home watching 'The Bill'.

Hey, I didn't know there was a GTG was on. Sounded like a good one!

Hope you had a pleasant stay....

Kind regards

Yes. I'm sure we'll soon get her addicted with Rolexitis.

Thanks for letting me tag along to the night with my cheap pierre cardin watch, with jap movement and made in china stainless steal case (it came with "genuine diamonds" tho! "genuine").

Yeah, it was a great night! THanks very much for all the great entertainment. And I felt quite priviledged to have been able to see so many great and some very rare watches, in person.

Talking about addiction, I bought Invicta's version of the Yatchmaster, that very night! YEs, Invicta...I'm working my way up, very slowly. I was aiming for a Tag next, but James reminded me of your sad story Steve. And thanks for all the great booze.

Sorry Chris, I didn't think to see if you might be interested, as I hadn't seen you around in such a long time.

Myvan thanks for coming along, yes b.y.o. booze has it's advantages. I hope you like your Invicta

Don't worry Myvan, you were probably the smartest one there. To think morons like us spend so much on watches..............get out before you get sucked in!

Nice to have met you.

Next time Chris.
