Many thanks for the responses! I promise I will work on my photography skills, but good to hear it is an acrylic crystal. What threw me off was the difference with my 79090 Sub or Heuer '64 re-edition which have a Plexi feel to them when tapped on. The crystal on my 7928 feels almost glass like when tapped and I was surprised that polywatch didn't remove the light surface marks (usually get those from brushing against a door frame:). Guess these blemished add character to the watch as it gets (even) older. It's from 1964. I bought a spare FEF390 movement long time ago, but don't have a spare Crystal and perhaps since this one is original to the watch, I am certainly not going to have it replaced or worked on for a few scuffs. Thanks again for the feedback.
