This is awesome! I have a 16710 Pepsi (which I bought because I didn't want the newer version of the GMT because of the polished center links). I later purchased a jubilee to fit, so I could have both options. I am jealous that you now have the glide lock on your GMT. I don't understand why Rolex has not put the best clasp in the world on ever single sport model they make. What are they waiting for?

Agree with the above. Jubilee for me. I do prefer the brushed oyster over PCL oyster if I had to choose between the oysters. Somehow jubilee on the BLNR just looks more expensive and luxurious to me |

I really wish I had an extra one of these laying around for my Pepsi.
Pretty sure I would never take it off. |

Looks great. By the way i have a 16710 coke that came originally on a submariner bracelet. Purchasing the sub bracelet with diver extension was an option when my GMT was new.

Just added a 97200 to my 116710LN. My only regret is not doing it sooner.

I have both oyster and jubilee for my GMT. As a daily i mostly wear the oyster, but when going out on the town sometimes, i swap in the jubilee. Versatility is the name of the game. |

Does someone have a pic of the other way around, i.e. the Jubilee from a GMT on a 114060 / 116610? I

BLNR looks good overall in PCL but looks even better on brushed. Job well done.

IMO it's a good move if you took an existing bracelet and just threw it on there.
Somewhat different than sending in a GMT PCL bracelet to be brushed. That might look the same but you're committing to keeping that watch forever. I'd rather go with your approach, given how over-priced Rolex bracelets are. (They the best bracelets in the world bar none, so in that sense they're not over priced - Rolex must make a killing on them, that's all.) |

Would love to do this to my 126710! I put a RubberB on my 124060 and just have it's bracelet sitting around doing nothing. However, it looks to be a tick too wide? If not...This would be the perfect candidate! Is there a chart that lists the watches with what bracelet comes on it and also what bracelets are compatible? I'm sure there is but my google-fu is failing.

I know I'm bumping up an old thread but finally decided to also add a 97200 to my 116710LN. Searching through the threads, sounds like the stock 116710LN spring bars are the way to go with the 97200?
Also any idea with the retail price is of the 97200? A couple of the local ADs didn't seem keen on attempting to order me one even though ironically I bought a 114060 from one of them. |

Are there any issues with fit on bracelet width.
Rolex go out of their way to stop people swapping things - wondered if there were any impediments? |

I always wanted to do that. The micro scratches drive me wild.
Instead I bought a Tudor BB58 with blue face and pretend its my cheaper batman. However the tudor stainless steel scratches easily too. |

Just call me old fashion, senil, decrepit, whatever.
I can't help it, for me GMT rhymes with Sports and Sports rhymes with Oyster and Oyster screams 7836 on a GMT, so I do applaud OP's move! |

I wanted to do the same with my BLNR, however, how can I justify paying $4,000 for the 97200 bracelet? It's the price of a Tudor Pelagos 39 watch vs. a bracelet.
I've been contemplating for years and still can't justify paying this much for a stainless steel bracelet. The cost to brush the PCL from a watch maker is $120. Do you suggest brushing the PCL or paying for the 97200? Thanks Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk |
