42mm Pam 535 or 1535???
Just tried on the 1535 in a boutique on Friday. I actually ended up liking the shade of the lume and it matched up well with a number of strap options they showed me in various colors. The hobnail dial’s pleasing to look at, but the one facet that gave me pause is the polished case. Still, a tempting piece. |

I can say the green rubber and orange rubber both looked really nice with the 1535. So did the light blue rubber, and though I am generally not a wild fan of leather straps, the one sold with it is really outstanding. I thought about having the case brushed to go with either (or both) rubber looks, but that’s pretty extreme. Still, I own the 973, which has a brushed case of 42mm and I am a pretty big fan of it. I’d love to mix it up with the brushed case plus that dial and the GMT complication. |
