Great story with my new SD43!!

I previously posted that I was able to purchase a new SD43 from Grand Cayman and was going to pick it up today. I did. The back story from the manager at the AD was that the salesperson, Abigael, is doing such a good job that he wanted to reward her with selling the watch to me. Their policy to usually only sell certain models to certain big customers only, and they also rotate email inquiries to individual salespeople so they can share in the commissions.
I have no purchase history with the AD at all, but as a reward to Abigael, the store manager rewarded her by letting her sell the SD43 to me, who just happened to inquire via email at the right time!!

I don’t have enough posts to post a picture yet but I will!!

One more thing I thought was odd, they wouldn’t let me have the white tag with
The rest of the box and papers. I did the the warranty card, booklet, and green tag. It came in a small box.

Best,
Joe

Most will give the white hangtag. I've personally had one AD hold mine back when I purchased my DSSD back in 2009. Back then the tag was green. All other's, they let me keep it.

Congratulations...I would keep names and places discreet. In regards to the tag you should have insisted to get it. It has the serial number of the watch.

What a big torture. Those sand would enter between the bezel insert and crystal you wont be get them out unless you remove the bezel. Sand pieces will scratch the side of the crystal when you try to turn it. It will also turn more stiff than before which would drive me nuts.

Congratulations Joe and welcome to the SD43 club.
Hope you got it resized so we can see proper wrists shots soon.
White tag is not with me either, I would have had it but I didn’t asked for it. Not anything you should worry about.
Enjoy your watch.

Enjoy the watch...clearly, some of us know how to do that more than others.
