GMT Master II Pespi noise issues?

Hi all,

I recently got a 2019 GMT master Pepsi from a grey dealer, however have few questions.

I am not sure whether this is normal, however when I unscrew the crown, it it makes a sound/noise similar to the winding sound. I also notice when I adjust the hour hand, it kind of "clicks" into the place. Finally, when I am not sure whether this is due to the 3285 movement, but the rotor sound is quite loud compared to other sports models, and when I shake it, it seems something is "swirling" inside. Are these normal for the watch? (I may be anxious and overthinking!)

Many thanks in advance!

I had the same noise when shaking. Took it to the service centre and they said it was normal, due to the new movement. Sounded like it needed lubricating!

Simple answer you are overthinking the 32 series movements have ball bearing rotors so you will hear the rotor pendulum swinging when you shake it.

That is all normal and expected.

Every Rolex movement I've owned makes a quiet but distinct tick tick tick sound when rotating the crown.

The hour hand is called a jumping hour hand and is made for quick time zone adjustment when traveling. It can be adjusted without stopping the movement.

The rotor is louder in all ceramic bearing watches including Rolex and omega.

Enjoy your 100% normal Pepsi.
