Some Shots
I've been playing with lighting, and I think these shots turned out pretty nice! I've been using the lighting thats coming though my window in my room.

The Omega ones are excellent.
I would have put a polarising filter on the Explorer shots and also adjust the white balance. |

See the screenshot I captured. One is whitish grey, another pic is bluish.

Dude we have the same taste in watches. When did you get the speedmaster? I want one next, along with a vintage sub (maybe tudor).
How hard is it to change the bracelet on and off your explorer? Cheers |

I got the speedmaster last week from another member on the forum. And my watchmaker changed the strap in about 10 seconds. I wouldn't dare touch the pins on my Explorer, but I've been practicing on some of my cheapie watches, along with taking off the casebacks, and changing batteries.

The explorer pictures are kick a$$. They came out great. I am still waiting for my CI to get me a Macro for a few days. I keep seeing my watch in different lights and angles and think if I only had that damn lens…

I've taken 2 shots for this discussion. Both taken with white balance at 8000K (i.e. daylight under shade) and the light came from the window. First pic hasn't got polarising filter and the 2nd one has the polarising filter on to control light reflection.
Also I post processed the first pic and gave it a different white balance at 5200K (i.e. direct daylight). Which pic looks best? |
