Heuer Carrera 1964 Re-edition Black face
For me the other chrono of choice is this. 1964 re edition Heuer Carrera, mine is from 1996 and I love it.
The white one is nice too, haven't had chance to photograph my black one properly yet! Jamie |

ookay, okay, i know and REALIZE that this is a fashion watch, and it would not be anywhere near the top of the list...but still....what do u guys/gals think is COSO tooo, and probably uses a standard ETA movement....please dont hate me for putting this pick up lol, but still if had some extra cash lying around i'd get it....its seems to be only popular with the guys hmmm outside of the U.S. realy popular in the middle east and asia...to some extent europe...

Actually, I picked an EXP II, an Omega Speedmaster and still had lots of cash left over from what a Rolex Daytona would have cost. However, I did pick up two Seiko Daytonas just for fun! Cheers, Bill P.

Not a fan of the Chanel J12. Posting that in this thread is like putting a cubic zirconia in a pile of flawless diamonds.

Kevin's Zenith has definitely taken my eye. But maybe a Tudor if I can find one followed by Omega. Would love the Alaska project but too much money to sit in a box! (Which is why my AD is calling me to see if I will have the one he has, when I have already told him the score)!

I would never choose the Daytona as a chronograph to begin with...
In my opinion, the best chronographs are the Lange datographs and the VC Malte series chronos.

In my opinion, if you want a watch with a proprietary certified movement without having to sell your house for it, you can't go wrong with Ebel's 1911 BTR Chrono.
If you don't mind ETA, go for Breitling/Omega/Tag.

I forgot to ad that the timer I use when I'm really timing things is my Seiko Sportura analog dial model. It's fantastic. I also have a TX flyback chrono that is exceptional at timing tasks.

Cartier Roadster chrono or Ebel 1911 BTR chrono. I wish the Cartier Roadster chrno was not such a monster.
