Any more of this Frostie and I will be forced to start up a Scottish language thread that will really test you.
I was born in Scotland, mum is Scottish, dad (died 15 years ago) was born in France ( his mum was French his dad was Polish) and ended up in Scotland at the end of the war. Dad spoke French, Polish and was quite good in Russian. We spoke a lot of French at home but I lost a lot of it when we moved to New Zealand and Australia.
Good to see you guys (and girls) getting together.

Interesting family history. I believe a lot of Poles and Armenians migrated to France in the early 20th century. Shame about losing French.

I'm worried if i have children they will also lose our family language, which is Greek. Unfortunately Australia and other english speaking countries are too monolingual.
