who bought their 1675 GMT from the US Navy Exchange in London in 70s?
Must the buyer be an active servicemen of certain rank to make such purchase in those days?
Do they need special permission/approval to buy one? Were non-combat uniform personnel able to buy one in the Exchange? Thank You. |

would there be any distinction for such Rolex sold in
the Exchange be in certain Serial number range? Or any indications one would be sold at the Exchange?

I remember that you had to be deployed a certain length of time,in other words you couldn’t be stationed stateside and fly to London and buy one at the PX, but as they say rules were meant to be broken
