Hello from the Big Mango
Hello and good morning,

My name is B.F. and I am an European expat currently living in South East Asia. The reason why I joined this forum is to get more insight and knowledge on Rolex, and other iconic, watches. It is the superb quality of the machinery, the design, the heritage, the feeling; it all comes together in a Rolex.

The watches I currently own myself are a 11460 sub, a 16710 BLRO GMT Master II, a Tudor Black Bay Heritage 79230G, an Omega Speedmaster Professional, and a Skagen Tank.

Having read some various threads on this forum, it is hard not to notice the passion and expertise of the members. I look forward to being part of this community.

Could you please answer me a small question? This whole forum-thing is new to me so perhaps I just do not understand, but how long does it generally take before a moderator approves a post?

That explains a lot, I already expected that the delay would probably be due to some sort of vetting process.

Some of the first ten posts get blocked, some don't. Depends on which words the software flags automatically.
