If you're after a 'true' Pepsi GMT then try checking if any Hang-Tags. My GMT has 16710BLRO on the hang tag and the serial number.
This gave reassurance that it came originally as a PEPSI and it's not just a standard GMT with a new Bezel... which BTW - for the age and condition in the images, that's most certainly a replacement Bezel.

Yes Black or Pepsi bezel they are the same watch... but the Pepsi's do typically warrant a significant uptick in $/£ for what it essentially a £/$40 part at Service time.

It’s increasingly difficult to find that reference in that kind condition. Good luck!

Thank you all. The box is the one with leather. Doesn't come with full papers. You get the booklets but no bill of sale. It does come with a RSC card from this year though, so at least I get some form of validation regarding the watch.

The FX is quite good for me at the moment, so I'll send an offer and perhaps will end up with an alternative to daily-driving my 17013, which I'm terrified of damaging !

Looks refinished, but perfectly so. I'd bet that's an RSC polish.
The insert should have serifs, so (I'm almost certain) that's not original.
Might not have been born a Pepsi.

Excellent piece, that is if one does not mind paying 12-15k for a 8-9k watch.

I know the dealer and the watch is not unpolished but refinished. Very well done indeed.

Nice example and reference. Shut up and take my money should be your strategy.

Certainly looks nice...don't get too hung up on polishing etc....just enjoy it!

Sorry for hi-jacking, but I had a similar question about the following watch. Any opinions on the case finishing?

Great looking watch. What Serial letter is it?

It's a U serial. The teeth on the bezel feel sharp and when you wind the watch there's a satisfying click as the crown turns. The bracelet also looks to be in good condition.
