I have a TT right now and I love it! I am going to probably get an SS model in the next few weeks or so, for an everyday watch, as the TT is very dressy. I love it so much though - and you will too! YG - might as well just get a DD

My vote is for the TT since it matches either white or yellow gold. If you're not a stickler for jewelry matching, then just get what appeals to you.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say go for the YG version. I'm unsure how everyone can think that the Day-Date looks better in all gold when the datejust and DD are almost identical in form.
The TT datejust look is extremely common as just about every 1980's dress watch was produced to look like it. The YG looks more classy and more 'Rolex' in my opinion. SS is suited to sports, TT looks like you couldn't afford a full YG. However, as my wife tells me I have been known to be wrong..... I'm actually looking at selling my 1960's Navitimer to help fund a DJ and I'm going through a similar thought process myself. |

I know that the classic DJ is a two tone but I couldn't resist this combination when I saw it in the Rolex catalogue. I tend to find this watch to be less 'dressy' and goes well with my suit and shirt through the week and t-shirt and jeans on the weekends.

I think the SS DJ with the flute bezel is the most versitile and my personal favorite DJ.
If I was going to get a YG rolex, I would get a sub, Yacht Master or day date. The best looking TT rolex is the sub Hope this helped Tom |

My vote goes to SS the current updated DJ with fluted bezel and jubillee bracelet. I am wearing mine now. Believe me it does not look like a poor man's silver - that SS positively gleams from a mile away and looks like a precious metal. A stunning watch.

mens datejust jubilee bracelet ill go for ss. i really love 2 tone but not for the jubilee bracelet. 2 tone is very nice in oyster bracelet.looks very classy and decent. so for the jubilee bracelet this is my ranking. no.1 steel. no.2 gold. no.3 2 tone. oyster bracelet. no.1 2 tone. no.2 gold. no.3 steel.

I would go for TT for sure. It's icon of Rolex. For whole gold, I will get DD instead.
