This incoming really put a smile on my face.
First I could not be more impressed with the level of service I received from Chase (AU_991tt). Super fast response to my emails and phone calls. Sent him a wire late yesterday morning, afternoon for Chase, and the watch was at my door at 9:30 this morning. Sorry to say that after 40+ years of wearing watches I have completely overlooked Grand Seiko. A couple of months ago I bought a vintage King Seiko from Adam (Old Expat Beast) and that put GS on my radar. Just another bad habit Adam has put me on. I could not be happier with this watch!
Borrowed photo Borrowed photo I think these two make nice companions. Even with 50 years between them.

A beaut, congrats
This deserves to be in the Seiko/Grand Seiko forum - perhaps the mods will move it there for you?

Love that GS. Almost took the leap and bought that same model myself a couple of months ago, but didn't jump on it quickly enough. The dial is beautiful.

Thanks guys, again I know I’m late to the party but GS really produces a beautifully built watch.

They sure do make some beautiful pieces. I know if I had to go down to one watch it would be a no brained I'd keep my GS right now.
Congrats on the pickup! |

I have many far far more expensive watches, but I haven't taken off my vintage Grand Seiko in months. They are - and were - some very serious and impressive bits of kit.
