Sunny LVc Pics

We've had some lovely weather recently so I took some pics of my LVc sunbursting away in the hot sun as I relaxed in the garden with a nice drink and cigar.

Beautiful watch.

One thing I noticed in pictures as well, that even in perfectly well illuminated environments, the dial still looks dark - nearly black.

It’s incredible.

It’s like only when the dial is directly exposed to sunlight hitting it just the right way can you see the truest emerald green.

Otherwise it’s more of a deep forest green almost black.

Is the that the experience from owners?

Yes, when the sun hits the dial directly it turns a brilliant green, probably not found on any other watch, which is what makes this so special to me.

The LV looks 100000x better in the shade actually. In bright sunlight its not that good looking. The bezel pastel color kills it for me.

In the shade it looks nice as per MacanS picture.

I also feel the same about the TT LB. While i think LV's dial looks flawless even in bright sunlight, i can't say the same about the LB, is too bright. This isn't the same with the original dials, that had the purple pigment. And overall, i both think they look best in the shade. Stunning dials, nonetheless!

The dials of the LV and LB look awesome in the sun. Its the bezel of the LV that ruins it.

Its a pastel green color that is not vibrant. That is why I bought and sold the LV 3 times trying to love it. LOL

The Bluesy bezel is not the same. In the bright sunlight it looks like a nice rich blue. Nothing like the pastel green.

Yes, my conclusion is the same regarding the bezels of these 2 watches. The green bezel on the LV was on the list of reasons why i picked up the Sub instead of the LV, when i bought my Rolex.

They are both faded and pastely in the sun. Not a problem for me as I never look at the bezel when the sun is out, while indoors or under shade and the bezel of both green and blue and indeed black are awesome and deep and crisp, the best my bezels have ever looked are under the shadow of branched trees, the flicker of light and dark that the bezels get is tremendous.
