Did you try to make up the time by laying the watch face up, overnight?

Ten seconds a week is outstanding. I'd probably adjust it once a month, at that rate.

That's considered very good since it's off less than 2 seconds per day.

Very Good, though depends on how long you wear it per day, how new it is ( it has to be run-in), positioning, temperatures, etc. But still, it shall be considered as Very Good. In real life, you have to let more time go by , as it might slow down a bit later and on average gain less.

Does a winder help a watch keep better time?

I learned here. www.time.gov and I check everyday over two weeks, take the seconds gained and divide by the number of days. 2.2.

I would suppose it does in my case. I never fail to put it on the Orbita after work each day I wear it. It stays there when not on the wrist and the results are astounding to me.

How can you tell? As noted, world time web sites.

My Nuvi GPS has a world time function under Travel Tools.
It appears to be spot on, and presumably is synced by satellites.

Wait a couple of months. Mine was running 3 seconds slow a day... but after 3 months "breaking in" period, it has now settles to about +/- 10 sec/month! Wow!!!

That is very good. How old is the watch? I only ask because mine seemed to get better as I wore it more. It started off at about 1.5 seconds a day now I am down to .6 seconds a day if you do the math. 10 days and only 6 seconds fast.
