Would you trade your GMTIIC for the new TT sub?

Although I love my SS GMTIIC, I am curiously interested in the new black face TT sub. It looks so clean and symmetrical. I really liked the look of the older TT blackface sub, but felt that I could not go back to the old style clasp and a different movement. Of course my dilemma will be: How much am I willing to pay to get the new one!!! Could be a deal breaker unless I get an exceptional deal.

I wouldn't and I am a Sub guy. I just don't really like the new ones, especially the bluesy. Very disappointed.

Not really, unless you really LOVE TT models. The new BLACK one is far better than the BLUE one whose colour they just haven't got right!!

Go with your heart!!

Nope. I like four hands and travel much more than I dive to 1000 feet.

I'd rather be a few thousand feet high with a topless flight attendant.

I just can't get enough of the TT SUB C

It is desperately good looking

And to answer your question : I wouldnt sell my GMT II C for the TT Sub C because my GMT II C was my first expensive watch

I'd rather save money than sell my GMT II C

I would consider it. But I would really like to see the TT Sub "c" in person before I commit

I completely agree. The GMT IIc was my first expensive watch also. Would not trade it in and I love the versatility of the SS. I think the new TT Sub looks stunning and would be a nice complement to the SS GMTIIc.

If you have the funds to do it and love the watch. I wouldn't be surprised if new the new subs retailed around 10.5k+ so you would be looking at at least a 5k upgrade if you were to trade.

No way I will swap GMT IIc with the black Sub TT. The GMT bazel is nicer than Sub IMO. Or maybe I am the only one who like lots of number on the bazel.

Moneywise, it's probably a smart deal. But I'd try to flip immediately, take the profit, and get the IIc again -- it's a better watch.

No way!

The GMT IIc is the new sub + an extra hand IMHO. I guess the promotional pictures allways looks a little better than the real thing.

Try both on and compare them. I guess you would agree that the GMT has the upper hand.

To be very honest ,GMT IIc is the hottest among the Rolex line so far ,which infact knocked out the Sub date and the Daytona .It is just my personal opinion!

The blue on the all gold new Subs I've seen in Tokyo looks pretty good to me. It seems darker than the WG Sub's blue. It could be an illusion, but if the TTs that actually hit the market have the same color, I might get one. I like the matte finish of the dial.
