Question about Yachtmaster and sea water.

Provably a dumb question. How is the titanium in the Yachtmaster at resisting salt water corrosion compared to a sub? Also is it as water proof as a sub?

It will be fine but i would always rinse it off in fresh water after a salty swim!

The Yachtmaster doesn't have any Titanium...

Perhaps you mean the Platinum that the bezel is made of.........

Platinum is non ferrous and will not rus. It should hold up as well as the Stainless Steel in most environments..

However, it is not as water resistant as the Sub. You can take the sub to 1000 meters, while the YM is only good for the same 100 meters as the rest of the professional Oyster line.
