Can either of these be had with a date function? I've searched around a bit but haven't found any reference.

You know that the Air-King is a 34mm watch, and the Milgauss jumps up to 40mm ?

If you want a watch with date, and that plain-jane look of these two, try looking into the Oyster Perpetual Date, or even the Datejust with the smooth bezel..

If this loads, here is the Oyster Perpetual Date that I like.

current models - no. but there are vintage air-kings with date complication. not sure about the milgauss.

Due to it's anti-magnetic properties the Milgauss was never fitted with a date.

In regards to the Milgauss, you should look at the newly launched 41mm Datejust - it offers very similar dials to the Milgauss, but has the practicality of a date as well. Check out the Basel 09 thread

I didn't know they were that small. That might look a bit funny on me. Well the Milgauss is probably a pretty decent size. It's hard to tell exactly how big they are in most of the pictures without some sort of reference. For some reason the Oyster Perpetual doesn't do it for me. Leaning towards a Sub or GMT, but just want to make sure I at least see everything before I pull the trigger.

Best thing to do is try them on your wrist, spend an hour or so at an AD and get them to let you have a look at everything

Sort of, on the Air King.

It's in current production, called the Date [as already posted]. A watch I admire, although current production ships with an Oyster bracelet with polished center links. Nothing in life is perfect.
