"Feels like a new iPhone release today"

Thats what my AD said this morning, they never had so many people lining up in front of their store he said.

Heard the same about other cities (im in Germany). Dont know if its the state of the economy, the slimmer lugs or because the Sub really is Rolex's iPhone.

Anyway feels like there will be some waiting time.

Is it the same in other countries?

Probably due to social media. Been a long time since Basel 2019.

My AD said his phone was blowing up yesterday. I reminded him, I was the first to call about a new Kermit. (Not that it will help lol).

But it would be good to have both.

Although the thought of comparing the release of a fine Swiss timepiece to anything tech-related make me cringe, I get he was just saying people are basically lining up for it. It's amazing how little changes can cause this sort of excitement (again similar to a cell phone update I guess)
