I just did. I had a bicycle crash and really got messed up. Broke my hip and broke my elbow (radial head fracture), both on my left side. 3 screws are holding my hip together now. My new wheels are a walker with an arm platform for at least the next 30 days. I feel like I am totally depend on someone else right now. Thankfully, my wife is a nurse.

I just bought a new Vespa GTS 300 three weeks ago to go with my Triumph Bonneville. No riding anytime soon. Or, anything else for that matter. I just turned 65 BTW. Sucks.

Anyone else gone down this road? How long till full recovery?
