Much prefer the BLRO, but not sure I’d want to pay over retail to get one.

I do not think you can do this trade with a grey. I recently wanted to trade a brand new in box Pepsi to a well know grey against a new Daytona and I was offered 16,000.

If someone offers a trade for a brand new Pepsi I think that is a really good offer considering they are selling for more than the RootB. The grey market dealer would have to be silly to trade a more valuable watch for a less valuable one.

All about preference but I like the two tone better. Oyster over jubilee for me anyday.

Never paid more than MSRP. I can be convinced if its 5-8% over the MSRP if taxes are included.

Speaking for the numbers only, if they work out in your favor, yes.

Keep in mind that a grey is going to give you wholesale for the watch you trade and want retail for the watch you buy. You would definitely have to put cash into this deal. I would rather just enjoy the root beer.

i think the GMT rootbeer is selling at a lower price than the pepsi -- so i think you'd need to kick in some cash to make this trade happen

Thanks all. Will keep the rootbeer.

The topic can be closed (if possible?).

This is the only trade I’d make in your shoes. Go TT plus cash for full RG. Pepsi is very nice but a bit too hyped at current prices imo

Never in a thousand years. I love the CHNR and think with looks, class, and versatility it is far superior to the BLRO. Not to mention rose gold and stainless versus just stainless.

Tough decision! I would keep the Pepsi and add the rootbeer.

why not just buy the pepsi if that's what you want? Are you trying to build up AD cred?

I have to imagine there are so many cheaper ways to go about it.
