I can’t keep this in!
None of you know me personally and I don’t know any of you. Thus, this a great place to announce that I found out this afternoon that my wife and I are expecting a boy!
Obviously, I don’t care about gender so long as the baby is healthy but I’m the only male left to carry on my family last name so a boy has special meaning for me. My wife doesn’t want me telling anyone but I’m so excited, and scared sh*less, and I want to tell someone! |

Big congrats.
I have yet to ever mention this online to anybody either, and we just drove up to my parents in NY state on labor day to tell them in person, but we're expecting too. A girl. I'm scared sh*tless too - beyond words. This was not planned and completely unexpected (thought impossible really)... the problem is I'm in my mid 40s and I feel like I will need a cane at her high school graduation. |
