looks fine the way it is for a 30+year old watch.

but if the scratches bother you, get a light polish. I wouldn't know what i'd do yet until i wear it a few times but i wouldn't be opposed to a light polish.

Do not polish it! Polishing cannot be undone where as you can always change your mind many years down the line and get a light polish.
