White Gold Daytona Panda with Steel Sunburst dial

One of the less common or ‘below the radar’ Daytonas

I picked this up for my wife earlier this year. One of my ADs had kept it in the back for someone who didn’t collect it so he asked me if I wanted it.

It’s not in the Rolex catalogue so not so common to find.

I’ve caught myself wearing it frequently, it’s a beautiful watch with some nice weight to it.

It’s also sufficiently ‘low profile’ to wear with shorts and flip flops without attracting attention.

Simply love it!

Personally prefer this one with the ceramic bezel on OF, but that does look nice!

I have owned a lot of Daytona's over the years but this one might be the best. Just picked one up. I really like it.

I love how under the radar this one can be. A really special PM Daytona - and it looks great on you.

I have never really been a Daytona fan. However, this is the nicest one I've seen, especially on the oyster bracelet. I could see getting this model. Beautifull.

Yeah same here, i always go for the bigger models like DeepSea, ExpII, GMT II, SkyD.

But the fact this one is full white gold makes it really heavy and look bigger.

wow did not expect so many owners of this wg model* I assume everyone here had paid for msrp plus tax? I have been considering a used one, from last year, dealer asking 36k, any thoughts?

Awesome to share a passion with the wife and very cool to see a lot of women wearing Daytona’s as well.

Seems like the Daytona and Kermit are the two sports models big with women.

Does your wife wear it plenty, or has it been more of an excuse to get more watches? :)

I got mine for MSRP earlier this year in Singapore, which was around USD34k. So 36k is not too crazy if it’s a ‘new in box’ or ‘hardly worn’ watch.

It’s a wonderful piece. I chose the OF version with ceramic to offer me something different in my collection. However, for most, it seems like it would make the most sense to enjoy a PM bracelet on a PM Rolex. I just picked up another PM yesterday. Love the full bracelets!

This dial is stunning.

As a note, I have a few other PM. A PM bracelet is far more comfortable to me than the OF. Those darn fins on the back of the OF either dig in or else it is a tad too loose. (Yes, I’ve changed the straps to every possible configuration as well as moving the clasp spring bar and EZ link to every possible configuration. The 116519LN desperately needs a small glide lock like the 226659!). However I bet this version fits just like butter. The bracelets are a key part of PM comfort, for me.

Congrats to all the owners. Great pickup!

Mine says hi! It’s a sleeper in the current Daytona lineup, which is also why I like it :)
