Wired article: Inside Tudor's HQ

Hi

A little Saturday morning reading from a somewhat unlikely source.

Wired has just published a piece 'Inside Tudors HQ'. Having skimmed it, it focuses on the technical aspects of production from case to dial to NATO (and not the usual aspects of the Tudor NATO's, either).

Unfortunately I don't have the post count to share links but of you Google the title you should find it.

Some useful tidbits that I didn't know:

- Tudor buys in dials and cases (would love to know more on this, as I haven't seen it acknowledged in recent Tudor reviews - for which models; from where?)
- The lab coats have magnetic strips wound into then to attract dust
- The Rolex HQ has its own customs office, in the basement
- In QC, there's a microphone listening to the click of the date wheel
