JLC - Extending Warranty from 2 years to 6 years Under Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Care Progra

I recently learnt that the warranty of JLC watches can be extended from 2 years to 8 years under Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Care Program launched in Q2 2019, as long as the watches are still under the warranty period.

Unfortunately my AD did not inform me of this program and I only found out about this program today. I purchased the watch in May 2019 so the warranty has expired. I called the AD today and they promised to reach out to JLC get back to me next week on the resolution. Prior to that, I also gave JLC a call but they refused to extend the warranty of my watch.

I am just wondering if anyone had the same issue as above and did you successfully extend the warranty?
