Just acquired my first Rolex (Deepsea)
Hey guys,
Super excited. I just got my first ever Rolex. I have been into watches for many years especially automatic movement watches. I recently left one of those watches at the gym and no one turned it in (Of Course). I wanted to replace that particular watch, which was $2,600 brand new and realized that I could get it for $1,000, which got me thinking, "why the hell don't I own a Rolex or multiple ones?" Then the obsession started. I really want a Explorer ii polar face and a batman, which I will eventually get but for now, I will have to just live with this one, (attempt at humor). Anyways I started doing all my research and found this forum which was very very helpful btw as I started getting the vernacular and acronyms down. I started calling AD's asking for any available stainless steel sport Rolex's and was like you would guess, told no. But on my last call, the gentleman on the other line said, "You know, we just put this one out as its black Friday and wanted to have some inventory in our cases, so I went down there and the rest is history. Super excited about it and looking forward to building out my collection. I guess I have to have 10 posts to post links as I am trying to post a couple shots of my watch, so that kind of sucks. Any other ways to post a pic to this thread. I have them on Imgr and just trying to post the BBC code. |
