Opinions on a non Rolex purchase
Only reason I’m posting this here is because I only own Rolex and Tudor, anytime I tried to wear a Ap or Patek it just didn’t do it for me. A new model from GP has recently got my attention. It almost seems to good to be true, so I’m wondering people’s thoughts and if there is a particular reason as to why it is priced so cheap? Is the mechanical aspect of it lacking? Are the parts inside cheaper? It’s the free bridge model like this. It’s around 20k wich just seems very affordable for what it is.

It's still 20k, which is a lot of money to most people. Ask yourself, if you had to sell that watch how much money would you get back out of it?? With Rolex there is value retention, I don't know it thats the case with a GP.

I agree! But it’s not always about retaining value for me. Of course I love that aspect of Rolex. But this thing is sweeet if you ask me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It's not my style, but if you like it and have the money buy it. Always buy what you love. Just know you will take a bath on it if you ever have to sell it.

GP's are a good product with a nice heritage, unfortunately they don't retain their value very well but that's not a concern for everyone.
Nice watch, get it! |

I think it is an awesome looking watch, and GP is a very respected manufacture. I would go for it if you like it.

i think that's a sexy watch. And the fact that so many on here think it's ugly makes me like the watch more. I don't want to go out wearing the same thing everyone else has on.
