Depends on the vacation. If I’m in a private house I’ll usually bring more. If I’m staying in a hotel I’ll generally just bring the one I’ll wear.

I could get by on just one if need be, and certainly if theres any risk of theft depending on travel destination.

Ideally I prefer to travel with 2 or 3 for variety. Especially for work related trips. One dress option for the evening (leather strap). One or two sports option for day time - one on bracelet and one on rubber.

On holidays I just take one of my Grand Seikos unless I have to attend like a function or something then I may take something else more appropriate as well.

For work travel, I always take a steel Rolex and its usually a GMT.

one digital sports watch
one ss sports watch for lunches etc
one nice watch on a strap for nighttime shenanigans

Normally just take a matte black G-shock when I travel for extended periods. Can handle anything that I throw at it.
