Incoming Explorer 21470

Really like this watch. Low key. Classy. Clean. Reminds me of my Tudor BB41. Think I’ll keep it hahahahah.
A bit less sporty than the Tudor or even less masculine. But it has something I cannot explain. A simplicity that really makes it irresistible.

Congrats - glad to see you finally got it. Will be interesting to see what you think of it - it made my BB41 Blue Dial redundant when I got one so I got rid of it. All the best!

Incoming Explorer 21470

I compare it to a BMW 3 series. Pure wearing pleasure. Industrial standard for entry level luxury.

I wish we could use GIFs here. Id use the one with Steve Carell that says "ishhhhhh".
i was trying them on one after the other y'day. There is some redundancy, i cant lie. But i love those Tudor Chamfers, and the watch is a tad more sporty than the Explorer. The Tudor was the watch i was wearing when my daughter was born, so it may avoid the chopping block just cause of that

Another thing. The Nato equation. The Tudor looks like a different beast than explorer when you start sporting Natos.

Tudor = Sporty/Masculine. Explorer = Elegant/Chic
come to think of it, very different and very similar

Congrats on getting your new Explorer. It's a great watch. It features robust precision engineering, handsome good looks, and great versatility. I am a big fan of all the 14270/114270/214270 models. Hope you thoroughly enjoy your new Explorer! Regards, -Rick.

BB41 is still a great watch but the bracelet on the Explorer just feels way more comfortable. You are right though, BB41 looks great on a NATO. I missed the Snowflake hands and blue dial so I got a BB58 Navy Blue and the bracelet on that is more similar to the Explorer with taper etc so I find is more comfortable than the BB41 was. Carry on enjoying them both though - great watches!
