Glidelock Fitment

Picked up a new WG Sub.

Can source an OF, from the WG YM, which will fit the case.

My question...is the Glidelock the same? If not, will the OF fit the Sub Glidelock?

Thanks in advance.

Nice! I think that might be the first one I've seen on here. The glidelock will fit but you'll have to get smaller OF inserts.

I imagine you are right.

But why? Wouldn’t it all be about the same size?

Glidelock Fitment

Congratulations Seth! Texted my watchmaker to ask. Just to clarify, you’re asking if the sub glidelock clasp will fit and replace the clasp on the OF?

No idea on the glidelock question, but IMHO it’s perfect as it

Thanks brother. Appreciate it.

And yes.

Want to use the OF on my sub. And keep my sub clasp.

Thanks dog. Yeah, it’s a beauty. A really awesome watch. But I just like rubber. To me, this on rubber will be epic.

should be both are 21 mm lug to lug.

not hating but without end links i dont like the look of rubber. would much rather see it on everest with the fitted ends.

When I hold my YM OF (no glidelock) up to my Sub (glidelock), the OF inserts are longer than the same pieces of links on the Sub.

clasp is prob shorter. i see what you are saying.

not sure how long the sky dweller clasp is compared to the sub but prob same issue if not worse.

imo just get an everest. not sure if they make it in 21 mm yet.

and i checked they dont.

rubber b has a wait list which is probably just a feeler link.

The WG YM? Doesn’t it come with glidelock?

I don’t disagree.

If I can make this happen, I’ll likely get end links as well.

But I do love my 116655 without endlinks. So I’d likely be okay either way.

Yeah. So on that I agree, will be different.

But the WG, with glidelock, should be pretty much the exact same.

Not sure I agree, as the glidelock on the WG YM is a miniature version of the Sub glidelock. I haven't handled one yet so I'm not sure of the measurements.

That’s a good point.

Wonder if that means it won’t fit.

Maybe I need to order the class too.

Pretty sure it’ll fit but the clasp will be longer so you’ll probably need to size down on the OF on the long size since the YM clasp is about a link’s length shorter than the subs. Unless you’re willing to just go tighten up the glidelock all the way.

This will look amazing when you get it all set up, looking forward to pics! And congrats btw!

I agree with this. If you're an E G on the YM you're E F when using a sub clasp.
