New Watch! (Looks like i'm getting 2 this week :)
Those who have read my recent posts know I plan on treating myself to a new watch this week. I had a free day today, so I spent it dropping by various ADs in my area trying on watches (life is rough i know..). In my travels, I spotted a watch i've admired for a while now, the Oris Artelier Skeleton. I was offered a fairly good price, so I picked it up :) I don't plan on making this the watch I promised myself this week, so it looks like i'll be treating myself to two watches :)
It's starting to look like the Breguet 5207 is becoming the clear winner of my search. I tried the Aquanaut on and it just didn't sing to me. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Another watch that randomly caught my eye was the Girard-Perregaux 1996 Complete Calender (with moon phase), but i'll most likely stick with the Breguet for now. Anyways, here is a pic of the Oris, i'll post up a pic of what ever other watch I end up getting this week when I get it :) For those of you who like pictures, here is one of the GP I was considering.. Just love the clean look of this watch despite it having moonphase and calender complications. And another of the Breguet 5207. The artistry and history beind the watch is just amazing. It's modeled after an old Breguet pocket watch. |

Good health to enjoy sir
What a lovely position to be in knowing that you are more than likely going to pick up a Breguet later this week I still like the Patek you are considering That GP looks beautiful, I'm really attracted to it. |
