I have more Montegrappa Italian pens than any other Italian maker but my Aurora 888P is the one I've been using near continuously for almost two years now and I think is also the second most represented Italian maker.

Next I also tend to use my OMAS and Ferrari d'Varese fountain pens.

But my Delta and Grifos pens also get to go WalkAbout on occasion.

OMAS, which is no more, made the best writing modern pens I've owned. I only have two Paragons but they're among my favorites both for their feel and aesthetics.

I just bought an Aurora that literally arrived yesterday. It's my favorite Italian pen.

OK, it's my only Italian pen.

I also have a nice Japanese pen and a German pen. And an American one, somewhere.

These are all fountain pens. Real men have messy 18th century technology that gets ink all over their hands. LOL

Aurora Optimas are great pens too. Both the 18k and 14k nibs are more toothy than Omas' 18k nibs and are not as springy but they write well too.
