Coats, jackets, jeans, shoes, training shoes, fragrances. To be honest pretty much anything I can wear I’m quite likely to buy in ridiculous quantities and always be thinking about “the next”.

Part of the reason I think I didn’t stop after my first Rolex watch is that it’s the one thing I can keep going with which does not require the house extending (again) or a move. I swear the other half looks more pained when I look at clothes and shoes than she ever does when I’m looking at watches. “You don’t need more trainers / shoes / jeans...” is oft heard, but she’s yet to say the same of watches, and she’s remarkably supportive of my desire for more of those. I could probably easier justify several thousand pounds on a watch to her than buying another pair of trainers without getting rid of a pair on a one out one in basis.

I don’t feel the same about cars because I get to change every 90-180 days, and don’t have any need or desire to own one while my role enables me to do so.

I collect some things that are not mentioned on the forum, and out of respect for the membership, I won’t mention any of them more than I have already.

That said, I have an affinity for the crime films of the 1960s and 1970s and have a lot of them on blu ray.

Pinball machines, Chris Reeve knives, and unmentionables that go bang round out my collectibles. I also have a couple of collectible cars but don't really count those.

Probably buying my 3rd car today... does that count as a collection?
