Thats a large.

I went green, it pops when the light is right. What many miss, is that its a graduated dial - lighter in the centre.

I actually prefer its chameleon like qualities

Fly like an eagle

My 2013 Cartier Metiers d’art Santos XL from watches and wonders Eagle motif, solid 18k white gold so surprisingly it has as much weight as my AP RO 15400

It’s hard to see the lovely blue sky unless the light hits it but the eagles eye is so amazing that was hand done with an orange tinted enamel that’s lifelike.

Trying to get the eye but we clearly need a better photographer lol

And yes she needs a polish

Like so many of my favorite watches, I could never appreciate the Santos De Cartier in photographs. On the wrist however, wow, what a stunner. So many dial options that are all beautiful, and most are very legible. Great size options, it’s super thin and sleek. Quick change bracelets that can be swapped in seconds and can change the look from sporty to dressy. A bracelet that can be adjusted, fitted, in seconds with no tools. This thing is incredibly well engineered.

Best part is my wife and I can share this amazing watch and enjoy it equally (obviously not at the same time :-)

I wa differed the brown, but just didn’t really speak to me in person. The two tone with the gray dial is awesome. My only complaint in that one is that I wish the hands and numerals were also gold. If they were that’s the one I would have pulled the trigger on. If Cartier has released an all stainless steel with that gray dial that would have been the one. But can’t have it all. Maybe next year or later on they release that gray dial on the ss. Maybe a dial swap 👀 we’ll see. Did you end up getting the fume?

For me I found the blue and green too muted and it was rare for them to pop (Needed direct sunlight). This brown, I would almost call yellow or orange and it has way more life to it. Big fan. Btw, I agree the grey was also insane on the TT. I’m hoping the dual time is the very same color

My new addition, it's pre-owned but in a great condition, I love it.

The rubber straps are about $360 IIRC. I ordered one of each for my large blue dial Santos. They don't make them in a size for the medium Santos. They are actually made for/intended the ADLC and PVD models that are only available as large cased watches.
