That might be my favourite as well (white/black arab).

Have to see a few at the ADS first though - including the meteorite.

Yes! I had never seen this dial until I started coming to TRF, but since that day I have been battling the urge to track it down!
I pray I never come across one in the flesh, because that will be the day my bank account loses 20G+

I assume this is the yellow gold Daytona? How is it when you wear it since I assume everyone knows it is a gold watch?

Did you buy the dial separately since I thought this dial only comes with the gold Daytona watch with the leather band?

Thanks

Still trying to make up your mind. --geez!!!!! hound me to find you a zenith and you dont know what dial ya want.. jk i am giving you a hard time, personally i own a 18k meteorite, and i dont know if its just the red hands or what, but i get compliments on it all the time. Personally i would shy away from any gold or two tone dials. but i do also like the arabic numbers and remember they can go in to SS watch even tho they are issued only in the gold models.

Sorry Allan. I can quite get to grips with the question being asked.

Allen and Gaffel....

Thank you very much for the compliment, but I don't own that watch! I've never even seen a real one in person. I got that pic from another site... I've fallen in love with it, and will probably sell my wife to buy one if I ever come across one in an AD...

Oh wait... I'm not married.... well, there goes that idea!

What I was trying to ask is:

1. Do you get a lot of attention when you wear it since everyone can tell that it is a gold Rolex?
2. Do you wear it all the time or just for special occasions?

I wear it when the mood takes me but on average over the last couple of years I would say two or three times a month which is about the same as my other watches.

The only attention it has ever got was from car salesmen and watch dealers, both wanting to handle it.

I am not a "flash" guy so even an exotic watch on me isn't broadcasted.

Not even this one (when it's under the shirtsleeve at least).

I just had to start some CPR on this post....The picks of the blue arab that has been floating around here is just amazing! I´ve just started collecting dials , and have invested in the following: Black dial for 116520, Silver Arab for 116509 and White/ Black arab for 116519. What should be my next move??
