Hi all,
Do you know what battery a Rolex OQ takes ? Do the DJ and DD take the same battery ?

Thanks Eddie,
I’m just checking if the batteries are still easily available as I’m thinking of doing a little “Shopping” today. These batteries are super easy to get. Very popular battery. That’s one worry out of my way.

Diving at the moment is not on the cards …….. I have to wait a few more months before that trip and then I have no idea what my backup watch will be.

Caliber 5035 and 5055 Battery Change
The attached pages from the Caliber 5035 and 5055 Rolex Technical Information show how to change the battery and check battery voltage post-installation.

The battery should last 18months minimum. If you get it done at an independent, ensure a pressure test and that they don’t damage the battery pod and + connector. Some bend them and that’s a no no. Good luck. |
