Are you newer to the PM pieces?
I shared your experience when I stepped up to PM, but over time the feeling settled out. I now feel SS also has its place for sure and enjoy being able to alternate a bit Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

But on a serious note, yes I agree. I picked up 2 Pm models in the last month or so and I havent even considered wearing anything else. My Subs, Daytonas, Explorers, nothing. And to make matters worse I like you am considering adding a third. As I've read many many times on TRF, Once you go full PM there is no turning back. At least for some of us.

I wonder if this is the case. Since I got the RG DD40 7 months ago, I’ve had no desire to wear my GMT LN. A steel AP might be cool though.

Why not step up to platinum?
I think having a wide array of metals is important in a collection, sometimes it is nice to have lighter metals like titanium or SS too, especially when being active.

It's better to have all of them (SS, TT & PM) but I agree that I tend to wear PM more often than SS & TT.

I have never had the opportunity to try on a gold watch. Are they really that much heavier than SS and do they feel better?

Lucky to own a wide variety of PM of SS and there’s room for all in the collection. I see no reason to limit myself, and love having options.
The whole “once you go PM you never go back” thing just makes no sense to me. Variety is the spice of life. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

After wearing gold watches

Yes, PM watches are typically heavier to some degree, and do feel a little different than their SS counterparts. And sure, the “heft” and wrist presence can be great. But honestly, they’re just watches, so it’s not like the earth shatters around you when you put one on :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Rolex WG to Panerai is a great transition back and forth.
Rolex WG to steel really sucks, and steel feels cheap.

Yes. It’s quite noticeable. For example, my old 116710 weighed ~150gr compared to my 117618 which is ~215gr Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Do it, and while you're at it try on something in platinum.
