Moser deployant clasp balance

I just picked up a new Moser Endeavour which I’m really excited about, but there’s a bit of a snag: I can’t get the strap with deployant clasp to balance well on my wrist (6.5"). The clasp and case end up way too close together on the 6 o’clock side (probably only about 1-1.5 cm apart, with a much bigger gap on the 12 side) and so it’s impossible to get the watch to sit balanced on my wrist; either the case or the clasp ends up getting pulled onto the side of my wrist.

After comparing it with a Seamaster that I have with strap/deployant, I think the issue is that the Moser clasp folds under the 6 o’clock strap rather than the 12 side. The overall strap length of the Omega is nearly identical, but the clasp folds under the 12 side instead, and so it ends up perfectly balanced, with approximately equal distance between case and clasp on both the 6 and 12 o’clock sides. This works really well on my wrist.

The Moser clasp, on the other hand, folds under the 6 o’clock strap and takes up almost the entire length of that strap, leaving only 1 cm or so between the clasp and the case. This makes it impossible for the overall watch to sit comfortably on my wrist. It seems almost impossible to get that clasp to be balanced without having a super super short strap on the 12 o’clock side (and the one on there is already shorter than the one on the Seamaster).

I suppose I could just swap out the stock Moser clasp for a different one more similar to the Omega, but I would strongly prefer keep the Moser clasp because it matches the case perfectly and helps balance out the weight.

Has anyone had a similar clasp from Moser or another brand that they’ve gotten to balance well? I love absolutely everything else about this new piece, so I would appreciate any advice that would help sort out this one snag with it.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Contact moser and explain it to them. Maybe there is a shorter strap on the side with the buckle.

Never could understand the reverse deployant, most uncomfortable clasp ever.

Crazy as this sounds … can you swap the deployant to the 6 o’clock side? Not sure what would happen.

Regardless, the 12 o’clock looks too short and the 6, too long as compared to your omega.

Plenty of mosers have tang. I find tang easiest for my 6.5

Looks similar to the AP clasp design (reversed). Indeed not comfortable. You may consider, as suggested, reverse the position. Will work better. Many did it with the AP deployant, and it is better althought a bit weird.

Yeah, this is the first one I've tried like this (only previous deployant was the Omega) and this definitely seems a lot tougher to get working correctly. I'm a little bit nervous because I also have an incoming Lange which I'm hoping to put a deployant on, and Lange's clasp are structured the same way as the Moser one. That said, I tried the Lange deployant on at the boutique and it seemed to fit fine, so I'm hoping that one will work out better.

What do you mean by this exactly? Do you mean switching the straps between the 6 and 12 sides like brandrea suggested? Wouldn't that just change the imbalance to pull the case and clasp to the outer side of my wrist instead of the inner side?

I was hoping to stick with deployant for this one both to balance out the weight of the heavy case, and also because I'm very clumsy with tang buckles and don't trust myself not to drop it at some point. That said, switching to a tang buckle is certainly a viable backup plan in case I can't get things to work with the clasp.

With my smallish 6.7" wrist, I find tang buckles to be much more comfortable than deployants.
