You should search the insert on Chrono24 than swap it by yourself but the costs change a lot. A blistered insert on grey market is around 300-350€. I paid 150€ all in(insert and work) but i have been lucky because the reseller did it locally(it's a big reseller) so he has left me the old insert. Some AD doesn't have the watchmaker so they have to send it to Rolex so you will get back the watch with new insert but without the old one. That's Rolex policy when you send watch there for any service. Anyway before to choose the AD for the insert swap i asked to others and i got different answers. One said me that he has to send the whole watch to Rolex than i would have knew the cost of the repair. One said me that could get the insert for me but i had to pay 55€(insert) + 40% if i wanted the old insert and 80€(job). One said me that i had to left there the watch for 1 month just to allow him to order the new insert, swap it and give me back the watch for 150€ without the old insert. One said me that he can do it locally but he had to order the insert and asked me 200€ for the job included to leave me the old insert. All of them were Official Rolex Boutique. I have chosen the faster, bigger and cheaper. I got a really good service because he did it in 2 hours than he gave me included in the price the Tudor travel pochette. This little adventure taught me that there aren't rules also between AD despite everybody thinks the opposite. |
