BEWARE!!! - Scam on eBay - Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 39MM

In a different thread, a member reported an eBay scam but failed to tell us the listing. Now we’ve located a new scam.

IMHO, by not warning the community, the OP inadvertently became an accessory before the fact. Because his scammer is stealing photos and descriptions to cheat others it should to be reported and shared here in WatchOut in the spirit of communication.

So I am doing this in an abundance of caution for our members.

Beware of this auction underway.

I can state it is a new scam unequivocally - check the photos and description here from a Watchuseek advert on June 1, 2018.

So, something odd is going on with your link. It takes me to a listing with the picture you posted, however when you click report, it takes you to eBay sign in page. I have the eBay app and whenever I open something in safari it automatically goes to my app instead of requesting I log in. Then, I searched the title in the eBay app and can not find that listing. There’s currently 68 results for Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 39MM. No pictures that match the one in your post and nothing even close to the price.

Good call startig this thread.

I was amazed at how litte the other OP cared about preventing another scam. Really bad form after he was just scammed by the same guy and was then hell bent protecting scammer's identity.
