No date Pelagos (David Beckham leak)

So Time & Tide shared a leaked picture this morning from David beckham where he was wearing a dateless, dark blue Pelagos.

Perhaps this is the MN watch that never materialised earlier this year?!

I thought for a second it might be mirrored as it was worn on his right arm. Checking pictures online he seems to majorly wear watches on his right

Not a fan of either, especially the watch.

They always look dull a expressionless to me (yes, again especially the watch).

I have seen some earlier pictures of a similar watch but that was not a 4-liner. However, this kind of pictures are always of poor quality. How come?

Looks like he’s finally accepted he won’t be getting his investiture as his just took £150 million from Qatar to be an
“ ambassador “ for the next ten years,,,,

He also owns an MLS soccer team and does lots of charity work. I met him on the sideline when he played for the LA Galaxy, as a "long past footballer" and he was the first guy on the pitch warming up and the last guy off, and clearly worked harder than anyone else. I think he's a great brand ambassador for Tudor as well. I doubt Beckham has to chase the media, and it's more like the other way around. I also understand fans in the UK would chant horrible slurs about his wife during matches, and I've never seen him be anything but a gracious and humble individual.

In the U.K. ,,we had the “ measure” of Beckham a long time ago,,,
Most charity work was a “ means to an end” to achieve a Knighthood etc from QE2,, when that didn’t happen,,he then was exposed calling people “ c—-s and how he’s not giving his own money to no F——R then continued slagging other people particularly the Opera singer Kathrine Jenkins who received “ honours”,,,,
He’s a mercenary and will sell his wares to the highest bidder,,

Hard pass. Looks too chunky. Also, there is no universe where I could get past that bezel with the countdown style of markings/notation.

Yes, according to other supposed leaks, this is allegedly the long-promised Marine Nationale collaboration piece. Supposedly smaller than the regular Pelagos too.

Personally I absolutely love it. I always think the snowflake hands go far better with the square hour markers than the round ones of the BB, and I love a fully graduated bezel.

I just hope it's in steel (or grade 5 titanium) instead of the usual grade 2.

A countdown bezel on a diver? Interesting. But would that work effectively?

Not to mention it isn't aligned correctly.

It might have a 120-click bezel; it looks almost half-way between 59 and 60, which means it probably got bumped and moved one click.

Yes, I think you're right and it is 120 clicks. That's exactly where you would find the bezel on 120 clicks with 30 secs to countdown.

Guess that means he actually uses the bezel. Or at least I would assume.

Seiko did this in the 60s with their 6159 300m Professional Divers. I find it to be a pretty cool feature.

I dig this Pelagos.

I’ve seen other watches with a countdown bezel.

My OCD could never deal with this.

The 10 is where the 50 should be, and the 50 is where the 10 should be.

Haha, it would probably bother me too. But I’ve thought for a while now that the YM2 would be better off with one (the 1-10 indicator on the bezel just duplicates info on the dial and the “yachtmaster ii” writing could be put (in red) on the dial instead. If they did that, and I still opted for a Daytona (in a hypothetical world ignoring availability), well, I’d have no reason. Right now the bezel and size to some degree makes me pause).

So a countdown bezel has me intrigued!!
