Your thoughts on this mini 73190

Hello gents,

I am really interested in purchasing this 73190, listed at $2450.

It has its original papers, tags and receipt from the 1st owner (who is also the seller) dated back to 1998. The pearl is missing and the watch hasn't been serviced yet.

May I have your opinions on the watch and itself and the price? Wasn't targeting that specific watch but I like it and I am wondering if the value for money could be interesting.

I do not have better pics for now.

Thank you

It’s very nice and has the best band for a mini. The price seems pretty good, but the case has been polished. Have you ever seen the movement inside a 73090? It’s a lady movement so it seems small and a little odd in there. Don’t be surprised when they open it.

Massive thanks for your input!

For my knowledge, how can you see that it has been polished? The edges? How bad has it be done?

Just asked the seller, he told me that the watch hasn't been polished.

It will take quite a bit of polishing to take those dings out.

I would pass and find a better example.

One that has been looked after a ‘little bit better’ and serviced?

The first owner? Strange that the sales receipt is from a dealer in Causeway Bay, HK, but the warranty paper is from a dealer in Karachi, Pakistan. You can find better in HK at that price.

As per what the seller told me, yes. But you are right, looks fishy, I'll let it go since I am far from being in a hurry.

Look on eBay for the mini subs pricing. In my opinion, the black dial and black bezel are the best. The least are the two tone gold plated with the gold dial. People price them at 4K but they rarely sell for this. Looking at the Rolex crown, and the bracelet I would say this is a plexi 73090 not a sapphire 73190. However the dial has Swiss made, which is more in line with 73190. I bet the case says 73090, and the dial was swapped

Be aware, they are only 32/33 mm. My Wife has one and it it looks great on her. On me it’s jussi too small.

Depending on your wrist size you may consider the 75190, which is 36mm

Yes, I am aware that the size is really small but I was more thinking of gift it to someone or just keep it and wear it from time to time since I do not have a big wrist. I'll look for something else.
