The pictures are not remotely clear enough for an amateur opinion.

I suspect it is fake because it looks too clean and the shape looks wrong but these photos are horrible.

Apologies it’s the first time I am seeking advice on the Rolex forum and I am using my iPhone to upload images. And I am finding it difficult to give you guys crystal clear images for your best opinion. That’s for the feedback so much appreciated I will upload more pictures a bit later.

Wow those are some ansel Adams quality abstract snapshots.
It looks quite fake based on what we have to work with.

OP, just use this site and upload some large proper IN-FOCUS photos. It’s free
https://postimages.org/

And maybe a few of the dial

Thank you kingface66 for the info . I am new to this , this is my first post and I am struggling to try an authentic this 6538 case. Bits and bobs of the case look good but I have my doubts. I know the case is very clean for a 60 year old watch ( not good sign) , but I have seen others online with clean cases ( in between lugs also) that are genuine going for big bucks.

The dial and bezel insert on the case are aftermarket rubbish and I would not waste anyone’s time getting feedback on those as I have had feedback already ! But mixed feedback on the case it self which is why I have brought my discussion here.

Now I am in the process of downloading these pictures via post images but I need 10 post !? Until this forum will allow me to past my pictures here !? SMH .

This is the strangest set of photos I’ve seen in awhile. It’s akin to asking of this watch: “what do you think of this sub? All original?”

That's any easy one:

* Looks over polished

*Must be Franken

*I don't see Swiss on the dial

*The insert looks weak

*Was the caseback replaced?

*How's the lume?

*Doesn't look like my new 2021 Sub, must be fake

*Also doesn't look like my June 2020 sub

*I've never held a vintage watch, let alone a Rolex, but I'm an expert

*why are there holes in the lugs

Freshly made. probably last week. Look at the cogs on the case back. Then look at the stamping between the lugs, If it looks new it is new!

Not a chance this is original.

Thanks for the kind words, I’ll be sure to pass them along. I’d like to say I had valuable input in the sitting area, but that would be a 100% lie. To add insult to insult, when I got home one day, the back door frame was being removed from the house so that the movers could get the couch into the house.
