Oyster Recorda
Hi all. I have the chance to buy this Oyster Recorda really cheap, but I'm not sure if it is worth the time to fix it up. My knowledge of vintage watches is pretty limited. It runs and it is a cute old watch. However, it has been put on a new band at some point (which is now also broken). I wasn't sure it it would end up being more money than it is worth to buy it and try find a correct band for it or not. Any information on the proper band for this watch would be greatly appreciated. I have looked through so many and not found one that is exactly the same.

Lots and lots of bracelets and straps will fit that watch, and the bracelet that’s on it isn’t likely original anyway.
So, forget the bracelet and buy it if you like the watch. Note that a lot of the gold fill has worn off the case. Movement looks okay but will probably need servicing. The dial looks original and appropriately aged. |
