Fixed bars - no issues here since it is a military design sub.
Color - Love the blue shade than the original one. Size - I wish it was 40mm. Bezel - No issues. Dial - Nailed it. Strap - Just ok. No date - Perfect. Price - Just ok. Looking forward to see this in person. Might pull the trigger if looks good on my 6.25 wrist. We’ll see. |

I like it, but have not seen in person. Spring bars are a weak link for tool watches, though Rolex figured that out and made a tool springbar long ago. I have used Rolexes and Sinns for diving, spearfishing, and marathon ocean swimming. I bent a Sinn spring bar and never used one again.

Picked mine up a moment ago. 7.25” wrist for reference. For bigger wrists it may annoy you that the line on the bottom side of the strap doesn’t go to the case (given the Velcro style). Fixed lugs actually not a bother. Wears thin on the wrist and the blue is pretty flat compared to the standard Pelagos. |

If anyone was ‘born to dare’ Neef.
It was you. Are you buying a boat or a swimming pool? Looks good and 42 is a good size. Oom.

It is a countdown timer vs “count-up” as seen on most bezels. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Picked mine up this morning. It fits great and is extremely comfortable. Visually the lug to lug looks much smaller than the specs because of the strap covering the fixed bars. I really like it!

I think the aftermarket, specifically the single strap like you called out, would wear the same. I have a few double strap ones that add some bulk but not much. |

Please mean this is the start for them to release a new Pelagos model but in black with non countdown bezel.

I'll look at it at my AD out of curiosity. Not something I'd ask to be brought in for me. That exposed velcro on the pic above is not appealing to me.

That first pic above was with the strap at spot AD put it at. I’ve readjusted it so it’s slightly better but with my 7.25” wrist there’s definitely exposed Velcro. At least now it’s not up against the case. The exposed Velcro doesn’t bother me. The strap is extremely comfortable too

I like the look of the watch, but sure wish it was a 40mm. Fixed lugs wouldn't be a problem for me. Enjoy your new watch.

An interesting nod to Tudor's rich history with the military and obviously the Marine Nationale.
It's fine though, a lot of people don't seem to get it. Back to those shiny ceramic arm bangles then. |
