Ocean DEPTH Comparison (3D Animation)

While watching this video, my mind was just saying "my Rolex is still good, it's still good....stilllll good ". SD43 (1220m) can go all the way down to the Arctic Ocean and Deep Sea (3900m) is good to the Atlantic Ocean (Titanic shipwreck).

This video just makes me appreciate how incredible these watches are.

Yes depth rating is great but one thing is for sure they will never be used by man or superman on the wrist in water thats for sure.While a technological achievement in the making basically they make them because they can mine is bigger that yours.If I remember the deepest dive just wearing scuba gear was around 320m perhaps now broken.But more men have gone to the moon that have dived past 300m in water with normal scuba gear.

Yet another reason to buy a Seiko

It does make you wonder why they aren’t rated for 2 or 3000 Meters though

I guess they are being conservative.

It’s really interesting stuff. I think that what keeps the oceans and water so fascinating. Such a large unexplored area full of wonder. It’s always interesting looking at all this.

Very cool vid! So much left to explore. I have the JC DSSD and it's been in the ocean, but only 10 ft. Lol. Still, it felt cool wearing it and knowing what it's capable of. I know, I know, nobody will ever dive that deep, but that doesn't denigrate its status as an engineering marvel.

Yep, Seiko tends to under-promise and over-deliver with the various numbers.

Cool video! It was really interesting, especially when they show various shipwrecks or where the typhoon class subs spend their time relative to these other depths.
