167xx GMT Master Bezel "Dots"
Hello, all. I'm an FNG here, so go easy on me!
Anyway, my question is (yet another) regarding GMT bezels, but one I haven't come across: Are there any examples of OEM service bezels with the "dots" centered vertically, as opposed to being more toward the inner bezel, closer to the dial? Forgive the ambiguity, but a quick image search will show what I am talking about. The bezel "dots" appear in line with the bottom of the GMT numerals. I've attached a picture of mine, which has the dots noticeably higher up. Am I crazy, or is this an aftermarket bezel? The seller will let me return it, but assures me it's legit. Thank you, in advance! |

Here is an example from Chrono24 of the "lower dots" that are on every other GMT Master. Notice how they are closer to the dial, and more aligned with the bottom of the numerals.

Thanks for the link!
Those are all examples of exactly what I've read/seen everywhere else. The position difference is quite apparent. I just know there are so many variations of the service inserts, and wanted to make sure this is not just another one to add to the list. |
