1556 movement: ideal amplitude

I searched the forum a bit and didn't see an answer to my question: What is the "ideal" amplitude for a 1556 movement (from an 1803 DD)?

I believe I read somewhere that the older movements don't have the same amplitude as more modern movements but i'm curious what you all think.

Thanks!

Thank you.

I was about 260 flat today, 210-220 or so vertical. The old girl is running pretty good!

The vertical pic I took didn't save for whatever reason. But here is the horizontal. It ran for probably ten mins or so to stabilize.

Also, I think I need a bit of tape on the case holder.

Could use a minor adjustment of beat error but otherwise not bad. How's the rate change btw positions? (Dial up, dial down, crown down, crown left, crown up and crown right)?

Great question. I need to run it through all positions.
